Boot Camp for New Dads

The concept is simple: dads-to-be learning the ropes from men who have successfully made the transition to fatherhood. Veteran dads and their babies shed light on the skills of fatherhood including demonstration of:

• burping
• changing
• swaddling
• troubleshooting crying
• caring for a new mom
• forming a new family
• becoming a dad

Upcoming classes: Saturday, April 9th
Cost: $30 per dad

Car Seat Check Ups

This private car seat installation lesson with a NHTSA Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician is designed to educate you on:

• Choosing the best car seat for your child and your vehicle
• The importance of rear facing and forward facing seats
• Making sure that you and baby leave the appointment riding more safely than when you arrived!

A private, 30 minute appointment is designed to accommodate one car seat in one car. Additional seats and cars may require more time. Each appointment is only $30 and may be booked and paid online. In addition, we currently have a small selection of infant seats for purchase.

Family & Friends CPR

Save a life! Enroll in our Family & Friends CPR Class Today! Do you want to learn how to save a life? We offer a Family & Friends course that teaches rescuer skills in CPR and relief of choking (foreign-body airway obstruction) for infants, children and adults. This class is designed for moms, dads, grandparents, caregivers, scouts, teachers and anyone who wants to learn how to be prepared in the event of an emergency. This class allows for a lot of hands-on participation to make sure that you feel confident in your skills.

• Completion of this class does not result in certification.
• Course is taught by certified American Heart Association instructors.

Come join us for an intro to cloth diapering class.  You will learn about the benefits of cloth diapering (environment, health, and money savings), the ins and outs of cloth, different brands and lingo, laundry care, and general use. All your burning questions will be answered as you enjoy seeing and feeling some of today's top leading cloth diaper brands.
