Joy Jessop
Joy has been an Occupational Therapist for 8 years, with the last 3 years in pediatrics. She does in-home therapy, which allows her to work closely with families in their natural environment on the goals most important to them. Since children learn through play, Joy develops and educates the families in play activities that facilitate the achievement of goals in motor development, social, behavioral, cognitive and sensory processing skills. |
The Nourish support group was truly my savior - the first few weeks I was feeling really overwhelmed. Being able to sit in a room with other new moms and hear their questions was a huge help and really comforting. It was also great to be able to weigh my baby each week and confirm she was gaining weight.
